Dolores Marie Stacy

Dolores Marie Stacy (nee Conley) passed away on Friday, January 19, after a brief illness. She was 86. Dolores is survived by her husband, Gerald J. Stacy of 63 years (January 22, 2018). She was the loving mother of Teresa Stallone (Steven) and Thomas C. Stacy, and devoted grandmother of Ryan and Keith Stallone.She is survived by sister Eileen Roach (Neal), and her nine beloved nieces and nephews, and their children. Dolores was born and raised in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia. She was a graduate of J.W. Hallihan high school, was an original resident of Cobalt Ridge in Levittown, and a founding member of the Queen of the Universe parish, where she volunteered for numerous school activities and scouting events. While raising her children, she went on to become a department manager at Union Fidelity Insurance and after her retirement, she divided her time between Levittown and Palm Springs, CA, for more than a decade.Family and friends are invited to call from 8 until 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 25, 9:30 a.m. at Queen of the Universe Church followed by Rite of Committal at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, at 11 a.m.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Fl., New York, NY, 10004.
