

Born in Abington, Pennsylvania, son of the late Dorothy (Demyon) and Daniel J. Santangelo, Sr. Don was a lifetime resident of Falls Township and was a graduate of Pennsbury High School Class of 1970.
Don was the devoted husband of 27 years to Beth (Schenck) Santangelo and the loving father of Kaylyn Elaine Santangelo. Don was the brother of Daniel “Butch” Santangelo, Jr. (Jan), twin brother of David Santangelo (Cathy) and the late Dennis Santangelo (Marion). He will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, extended family and members of the Schenck family.
Don proudly served his country in the United States Air Force Reserves. He was employed by the Naval Air Development Center in Warminster as the Assistant Chief of the Fire Department. In 1987 he founded Bucks County Fire Safety Services where he continued to provide fire services and training until the time of his death. For over 30 years he served his community as a volunteer firefighter for Levittown Fire Company #1 as Chief and for Falls Township Fire Company.
Don was a devoted member of St. Joseph the Worker, followed by St. Frances Cabrini.
For those who knew Don, he was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and spent many years enjoying the game of baseball from the third baseline with his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to services on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Don’s name may be made to Levittown Fire Company #1 or Falls Township Fire Company. Don was a lifetime advocate for fire prevention and safety and was passionate about his community.
