

Donna M. Baldwin died suddenly at her home on Thursday, February 10, 2011. She was 68. Born in Rankin, PA, daughter of the late Laura (Opalski) and Michael Gorka, she moved to Fairless Hills at the age of 9 and has resided in Middletown Township for the past 44 years. She was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown. Mrs. Baldwin was employed with the Pennsbury School District as the secretary for the Principal of Oxford Valley Elementary School for several years. She was a community consultant for the Washington Post "Guide for Retirement Living." Mrs. Baldwin was as a member of CAPS (Children of Aging Parents) and ran their support groups. She enjoyed retired life. She liked to visit New York City and enjoyed time spent with her friends, retired teachers from Bucks County and the associates at Curves in Langhorne. Beloved wife of George J. of 44 years, Mrs. Baldwin was the loving mother of Christopher of Fairless Hills and Michael of Abington and was the sister of Michalene Whelton (Paul) of Middletown, DE. She will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, 8:00 until 9:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery.
