Dorothy Bush

Dorothy B. Bush of Fairless Hills died on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Langhorne Gardens. She was 90. Born in Phillipsburg, PA, Dorothy has been a long time resident of Fairless Hills. She was a devout Christian woman and member of Calvary Full Gospel Church. In her earlier years she loved playing the piano and organ in church. Dorothy was a kind hearted, spirited, God serving woman who loved her family deeply. She showed surmountable forgiveness for those who stumbled along life's journey. Whenever you visited her you always left with a full tummy and a heart filled with love. She lived a wonderful life and is now in heaven with her beloved husband of 72 years, John. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late John J. Bush for 72 years. She was the beloved mother of three sons, John Paul, Gary L. (Holly) and Robert G. (Fay). She was a devoted grandmother to John Paul, Michael, Amy, Heather, Sandalea, Jeremy and Matthew and great grandmother of Amanda, Ian, Brian, Isabella, Kayleigh, Rylee and Emmalee. She is also survived by her former daughter-in-law Virginia Kenworthy Bush and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 6:30 until 7:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place at precisely 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Full Gospel Church, 676 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills, PA 19030.
