Dorothy M. Joyce Dorothy M. Joyce died on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Aria Health Bucks Campus in Langhorne. She was 81. Born and raised in the Frankford section of Philadelphia, Mrs. Joyce has been a Lower Bucks County resident for over 40 years. She was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, Fallsington. Until retiring, Mrs. Joyce was a sales representative for John Wanamaker formerly at the Oxford Valley Mall. Mrs. Joyce was an avid fan of the New York Mets and the Dallas Cowboys. Most important to Mrs. Joyce always, was the love of her entire family. Beloved wife of the late Thomas F., Mrs. Joyce was the loving mother of Stephen T. of Belleville, PA and Jo Ann L. Joyce of Yardley. She was the devoted grandmother of Stephen, Jason, Patrick, Meghan, Thomas, Brittany, Matthew and Daulton; the proud great grandmother of 12 and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of 2 more; and the sister of Edward Rooney of Pittsburgh, Rita Kloepfer of Reading and Patsy Heller of Ardsley. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 12:00 until 1:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem.
