Dorothy "Dottie" N. Ticeano, daughter of the late, Leonard and Ruth McGuigan, youngest sister to Thomas McGuigan (Darleen) of Virginia and the late, Frank McGuigan, succumbed after a long battle with COPD on Monday, June 5, 2023, in her home with her loved ones by her side.
Dottie was born in Philadelphia and then became a lifelong resident of Croydon, PA. She worked in nursing for over 30 years, working in nursing homes and in the Philadelphia Prison System.
Dottie was an avid gardener, a mom to many more. She will be missed by all who loved her or called her a friend.
Dot was married to John F. Ticeano for over 30 years and has now joined him. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Robert Kelly (Ana) of Philadelphia, Jodi Johnston-Benifield (Brian) of Minnesota, Frank Ticeano (Amy) of Bristol, John M. Ticeano of Levittown and Sandra Hudak of Hazleton, PA. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
