Earle S. Cathcart, Jr.Earle S. Cathcart, Jr. passed away suddenly in his home in Yardley on Friday, November 27, 2015, with his loving wife by his side. He was 59.Born in Trenton, NJ, the son of the late Helen M. (Bush) and Earle S. Cathcart, Sr., he has been a longtime resident of Yardley and member of Saint John the Evangelist Parish, Lower Makefield.Earle was a graduate of Pennsbury High School and went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from the University of Hartford.He worked as a general manager at Cathcart Pontiac for over 20 years. Earle later went on to become the owner/operator of Slippery Surface Solutions, LLC and also worked part time at A1 Limousine. He was a member of the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce.Earle was also a member of the New Jersey Free & Accepted Masons. He loved traveling, history, cars and enjoyed golf.Earle had a great sense of humor and and was always full of surprises. Most important to him always, was the love he had for his wife and daughters.Beloved husband of 31 years to Maureen M. (Kucharski), Earle is the loving father of Jennifer Cathcart Linda and her husband, Robert and Aubrey Cathcart; the caring brother of Kim Norton (Peter); and uncle of Darcy, Meghan and Devin.Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Doughery Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Friends may also call again on Thursday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, officated by Bishop Joseph Bambera. Interment will be held privately.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 3921 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
