

Edward R. Barr, II Edward R. Barr, II died on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He was 71. Born in Wilkes Barre, the son of the late Helen R. (Minick) and Edward R. Barr, Mr. Barr has been a resident of Levittown since 1970. He was a Lithographer with Metal Litho in Lawrenceville; Crown, Cork and Seal in Philadelphia; and American Can in Morrisville. Mr. Barr enjoyed going to the gym, walking, hiking and nature. Mr. Barr loved cutting down trees for firewood. He loved nothing more than spending time on the mighty Susquehanna River, nestled in the Endless Mountains in picturesque Tunkhannock, Pa. Beloved husband of 46 years to Theresa (Ungrady), Mr. Barr is the loving father of Edward J. Barr (Jamie) of Warminster, Jeffrey (Jennifer) of Bensalem, Christopher (Shannon) of Jim Thorpe and the devoted grandfather of Derek. He is the brother of Dena Edwards (Bill) and Judy Letukas (Frank Jr.) and the late Lois Barr. Mr. Barr will also be sadly missed by his nephew, Frank Letukas, III and many more nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 9:30 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Barr's name may be made to St. Joseph's Indian School, P.O.
