

Edward J. Glover, Sr., of Levittown, died on Friday, October 15, 2010 ay Aria Health Bucks County. He was 80 years old. Edward was a wonderful husband, father and brother. He had a good sense of humor and deeply loved his family. Over the years he enjoyed woodworking, traveling and spending time at the New Jersey shore. Edward was a 32nd Degree Master Mason with the Fairless Hills Lodge #776 F & AM as well as a member of the Shriners Crescent Temple. He was employed as a Boiler Engineer with Rohm and Haas Chemical at both the Bristol and Croydon plants for over thirty years. Beloved husband of 58 years to Hildegard (Meierdiercks), Edward is the loving and devoted father of Linda Glover Jolly of Morrisville, PA and Ed Glover, Jr. (Karen) of Altus, OK and proud grandfather of Amber Boling (Jerry) and Cassie Glover, both of OK. He will also be sadly missed by his brother, Richard Glover (Alice Mae) of Wrightstown, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a step sister, Janet Maier (Harry) and a step brother, Albert Younginger. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
