Edward J. Wilson Jr.

Edward J. Wilson, Jr. died suddenly on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at his home in Bristol. He was 62. Born and raised in Levittown, son of the late Mary (D'Angelo) and Edward J. Wilson, Sr., Ed has been a longtime Lower Bucks County resident. He was employed with Rohm and Haas for over 20 years, where he also served as a Shop Steward. Ed was an avid golfer and fan of the Eagles and Phillies. He will be lovingly remembered for his jokes and making others laugh. His greatest legacy was the love for his family. Beloved husband of the late Christine (Bond), Ed is the loving father of Stacey Wilson, Eric Wilson (Amy), Wayne Wright (Renee) and Jennifer Goddard. He will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Miles, Jared, Alexis, Conner, Jaime Jr., Tristan, Rylee, Jaden, Mason and Jordyn; great granddaughter, Elena; brothers, John A. (Linda), Michael (the late Diane) and Patrick (Janet) Wilson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Graveside Service to follow at Forest Hills, Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions in Ed's name be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
