Eileen McKeon-Udris

Eileen McKeon Udris, age 62, a longtime resident of Levittown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on August 21, 2026. In a deeply meaningful final chapter of Eileen's life, the day she peacefully passed was also the day her first grandchild was born. Even amid the family's tremendous loss came the arrival of a new generation—one that will carry forward the love and strength Eileen gave so freely throughout her life.

Eileen was born to John and Catherine McKeon in Darby, PA. Growing up, she enjoyed playing softball, collecting sports cards, delivering newspapers, riding bikes with her siblings, and spending summers at the Glenolden Pool. She graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School in Drexel Hill with the Class of 1980. She later attended Delaware County Community College, earning an associate degree in Computer Programming and Business Management in 1984.

Eileen built a career as a mortgage post-closing specialist and especially enjoyed the opportunity to work from home, where she could have the company of her beloved dog, Bailey, throughout the day.

Above everything else, Eileen was devoted to her family. She loved hosting holiday gatherings and especially treasured the Christmas season. Some of her happiest moments were spent simply being with the people she loved- whether traveling with her sisters, vacationing with family, bowling, watching Hallmark movies, reading a good book, or having lunch with her sisters at Jim Thorpe. A loyal Philadelphia sports fan, Eileen also loved cheering on the Phillies every night..

Those who knew Eileen will remember a woman who was strong yet kind-hearted, resilient yet thoughtful, and endlessly generous with her love. She was beloved, cherished, faithful, hardworking, selfless, and above all, someone whose family was at the center of everything she did.

Eileen is now reunited with her husband with whom she shared 18 years of marriage before his passing in 2004, Uldis Udris; her parents, John McKeon and Catherine McKeon (née Kelly); and her brother, Shawn McKeon.

Eileen is survived by her children: Sean Udris, Christina Udris (Dylan Lanzi), and Kevin Udris (Stef Iatarola); her grandson Noah Joseph Lanzi; and her sisters, Maureen McHenry (Richard) and Anne Brogan (Mark).

A viewing will be held at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056, on September 3, 2026, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 am. She will then be laid to rest at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064, on September 3, 2026, at 1:30 pm.

Eileen leaves behind a legacy not measured by possessions or accomplishments, but by the family she loved fiercely, the traditions she created, and the countless memories that will continue to bring her loved ones together.
