Eileen H. MurphyEileen H. Murphy died peacefully on Tuesday December 22, 2015 at her home in Falls Township, surrounded by her loving family. She was 85.Born in Philadelphia and raised in Nicetown, Mrs. Murphy was a longtime resident of Bensalem prior to moving to Fairless Hills 3 years ago. She was a graduate of Simon Gratz High School.Mrs. Murphy was employed as a Supervisor Agent with the IRS for 35 years, until her retirement.She enjoyed time spent at the Torresdale Swim Club and sketching portraits. Her family was most to important to her. She also loved her pets.Beloved wife of the late James Francis, Mrs. Murphy is the loving mother of Patrick J. (Diane) and James J. (Lois).She was the devoted grandmother of Patrick, Nicole, Ryan, Jimmy, Michelle and Angie; proud great grandmother of 7 and great great grandmother of 5; and the sister of Rosemary Slemmer-Devlin.Mrs. Murphy was predeceased by her siblings, Bernice, Martina, Tessie and Buddy.Services and interment will be held privately.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to A.L.S.
