

Eleanor was born on April 27, 1931 in Kingston, PA, daughter of the late Albert and Evelyn Baron, and was a 1949 graduate of Kingston High School. She moved to Levittown in 1955 when her husband Jack was hired by US Steel in Fairless Hills, and remained an original Levittown homeowner.
Until her retirement, Eleanor was employed with the Bucks County Courier Times as a dispatcher for 15 years. She had previously been employed for many years with the former Pomeroy's in the Levittown Shopping Center in the Credit Department.
Eleanor was a longtime member of Saint Michael the Archangel Church in Levittown and the Belles & Beaus square dancing group.
She enjoyed family vacations and gatherings, traveling, and Phillies Baseball.
Eleanor is survived by her two children, Sheri (Rick) Shenberger and Dale Jackson; 3 grandchildren Conor Jackson, Katie (Katherine) Jackson, Ryan Shenberger; and a brother, Albert Baron Jr.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Clarence "Jack" Jackson and her sister Dolores Belinski.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA. Friends will be received from 9:00 am until the time of service. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
