Eleanor D. Rogers

Eleanor D. Rogers Eleanor D. (Neuberger) Rogers died on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Statesman Nursing Home in Levittown. She was 92. Born in Philadelphia, she was a resident of Levittown for 56 years. Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Pennypack Senior Citizen Center and the Middletown Senior Center. Beloved wife of the late Alfred R., Jr., Mrs. Rogers was the loving mother of Alfred R., III of Levittown; Eleanor Bennett and her husband, Jerry of Lanoka Harbor, NJ; and Maureen Esenwein and her fianc, Andrew Kreiling of Laurel, DE. She was the devoted grandmother of Jerry, Jr. (Maria), James, Todd (Kimberly) and William Bennett and George (Rose), Dustin (Kristin) and Kyle (Ashley) Esenwein and the very proud great grandmother of 9. She will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, from 9:30 until 10:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, Fairless Hills, followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery.
