Elizabeth M. BurkeElizabeth M. Burke died on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne at the age of 70.Born in the Mayfair Section of Philadelphia, Elizabeth was a 1966 graduate of Saint Hubert High School. She was raised in Holland, Bucks County, PA, and has been a Middletown Township resident for the past 16 years. Elizabeth was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown.Until her retirement, just this past November, Elizabeth was employed with Amtrak in Reservation Sales for 42 years.She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, however, her greatest enjoyment was being with her family. She valued the time they had together.Beloved daughter of the late Eileen M. (Schmid) and William J. Burke, and loving sister of the late Mary Kathryn Smith, Elizabeth is survived by her siblings, William F. (Annmarie), Michael J., Kevin J. (Karen), Brian J., Peter J. (Phyllis), Maureen A. Sonnie (Norbert) and Sean J. (Dora) Burke.She will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 9:00 until 10:30 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Elizabeth's name may be made to Holy Family Regional Catholic School STREAM Program, 2477 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.
