Known for her fun and joyful nature, Betty always looked her best, would hug a cactus for a klondike bar, and always put family first. Her playful spirit was a light in the lives of many.
Professionally, she was most proud of her career as an underwriter at GE, where she dedicated many years of service.
Betty and Ray had many worldly adventures together, her favorites included cruising, the shores of Mexico and the rich history of Italy. Her hobbies and interests were a reflection of her joy for togetherness. Betty's soul sang in the kitchen as an admired chef, her stuffing and potato salad were a staple at any gathering. Manicures and pedicures with her daughter Wendy were cherished moments, as were shopping trips with her grandchildren. Betty was her happiest looking her best with her toes in the sand and a Manhattan in hand.
Betty's memory will be treasured by her devoted husband of sixty years, Raymond, and lovingly remembered by their children: Raymond Jr. (Sandi), Wendy (Joseph) Merlino, and Chris (Nancy). She was a proud and doting Mom-Mom to grandchildren: Ashley, Tyler, Dominic, Nicole, Carly, Alexandra, Megan, Spencer, Sammi, Charlie, and predeceased in life by granddaughter, Heather; a cherished Nan to great-grandchildren: Joshua, Teagan, Raelynn, and Kaila. Her dear Manhattan mates, Kathy and Andy, alongside countless members of her extended family and circle of friends, will forever hold Betty in their thoughts.
