Born in Philadelphia, Mrs, Houghton was a long time resident of Lower Bucks County.
Mrs. Houghton was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Joseph Houghton; her parents, Arthur and Lillian Peters and her brother, Arthur Peters Jr.
She was the loving mother of James J. Houghton Jr. (Barbara), Janet Foster (Al), Linda Greco (Don), Anita Bauman, Audrey Houghton and Karen Sinclair (Mike); devoted grandmother of Alexa, Justin, Grant, J.D. (Darcie), Beth (Deb), C.J., Andrew (Ines), Joshua (Mandy), Hannah (Christopher), Shannon (Kevin), Krista (Eric) and Michael (Ashley) and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 until 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 18th at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Sepluchre Cemetery.
