

Eva S. Blackman Eva S. Blackman died on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 91. Born in Harriman (Bristol), she has been a resident of Yardley for nearly 50 years. Mrs. Blackman spent her teenage and early adult years in Pitman, NJ where she met and married her husband, Dan. Mrs. Blackman graduated from Jefferson School of Nursing in 1941 as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends at Middletown Seniors and watching sports on TV, especially the Phillies, Eagles and tennis matches. Her greatest enjoyment, however, was time spent with her family. Beloved wife of the late Daniel S. Blackman III, Mrs. Blackman is survived by her son Scott and his wife Judith (Donini), her grandson, Michael Scott Blackman all of Yardley, her special niece, Judy Leach and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, 9:30 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown where her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.
