Evan was born in Langhorne, PA to John and Margaret Sormilich. Evan graduated from Bucks County Technical High School in 2011. Evan went on to establish a career as a(n) union electrician, working for Capitol Health.
Evan was a gifted lyricist, a talented guitar player, and an amazing singer. Evan’s happiest pastime was playing music with his friends/brothers. “I think I found a place where I’m happy, it’s a crowd of my friends yelling the music with me”- PTK. Evan was also a phenomenal cook, jumping at any chance to cook for his people. Ev had an incredible sense of humor and did stand-up comedy from time to time.
Evan was a friendly, articulate, gentle, gregarious, outlandish, and timeless person. He was deeply sensitive and loving. From his quick-wit and charisma to his beautiful singing voice and stellar guitar playing skills, he made a significant impact on everyone that met him. Evan was a loving and loyal son, brother, best friend, band-mate, partner, uncle, nephew, cousin, coworker, and so much more. His absence has left a tremendous hole in the lives of those that loved him, and he was loved by so many. Though there will always be an empty seat at every single family gathering, we are comforted in knowing that his memory will be kept alive with all of the Evan moments we have to share.
Predeceased by his father, John Sormilich; and his grandparents, Thomas (Beebop) and Leonarda (Meemom) Cirillo.
Evan is survived by his mom and stepfather, Maggie and Michael Talay; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Sean (Chelsea), Ryan (Mk), Kyle (Dania); his nieces and nephews, Scottie, Leo, Layla, Stella, Thomas; his Significant other, Staci Hatton; his aunts and uncles, Uncle Jimmy Griffin, Aunt Mary and Uncle Bob Notarfrancesco; his cousins, Justin (Kate) Notarfrancesco, Lindsey (Lance) Sagers and Jaci (Matt) Stevenson; his step brother, Shawn Talay; his step sisters, Jessica and Shanna Talay; and his dear friends who meant more to him than words could ever express.
