

She was a resident of Levittown for 48 years before moving to Langhorne in 2000 and then relocating to Twining Village Retirement Community in 2012.
She was born November 3, 1928 to the late Angelina (Wolstinholme) and Ethelbert Christopher in Fall River, MA. Evelyn graduated from Westport MA High School in 1946. In 1949 she received her Registered Nurse license, having graduated from Union Hospital School of Nursing in Fall River, MA. She was employed by Union Hospital before moving to Levittown in 1952.
After their marriage in MA, Evelyn moved to Levittown with her longtime high school sweetheart, Stephen M. Boyles Sr. In 1955 he established his general insurance agency, later incorporated into Profession Insurance Brokers, Inc. Evelyn received her insurance agent's license and joined the business also. The agency served Levittown and surrounding areas for more than 40 years.
Evelyn was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Fallsington since 1955. She sang in the choir, was a member of the Vestry and President of the Women of All Saints Church. In 1965 she joined the Order of the Eastern Star, LeFair Chapter #535, of Fairless Hills.
She was a rather quiet and reserved individual with deep love and concern for her family and other people she was in contact with. She was also caring and generous with many charitable organizations.
Evelyn was much loved by her deceased husband, Stephen M. Boyles Sr. They were fortunate to have celebrated over 67 years of married life.
She was predeceased by her oldest child, Karen L. Brown; 2 sisters and 3 brothers, Caroline Tripp, Lena, Charles, Albert and Samuel Christopher.
Evelyn is survived by her loving children, Eileen J. Taylor and her husband Robert G.; Stephen M. Boyles Jr. and his wife, Sandra; Susan G. Hepp and her husband, George Jr.; and son-in-law, Thomas Brown Jr., Karen's husband.
Evelyn is also survived by ten grandchildren: Brian (Deidre), Douglas and Gregory (Lorraine) Taylor; Thomas J. III and Christopher (Ashley) Brown; Mary Click (Steven); Sarah Maddela (Jacob); Michael and Timothy Boyles; and Victoria G. Clark (Wolph). She was also blessed with nine great grandchildren: Owen, Annabelle Taylor, Austin and Brady Taylor; Thomas J. Brown IV; David and Matthew Taylor; Palser Click and Beniah Maddela; plus Baby Clark, who is due in December.
Evelyn is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, South Carolina and Florida.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at All Saints Episcopal Church, 9 Old Locust Avenue, Fallsington, PA 19054, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Burial will be held at a later date.
