Evelyn M. Farrell

Evelyn M. Farrell Evelyn M. (Hannon) Farrell died on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 85. Born and raised in Scranton, she has been a resident of Levittown since 1956 and became an original homeowner. She was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish. Mrs. Farrell was a buyer for Pomeroy's Department Store in the former Levittown Shopping Center for 25 years. After retiring, upon the closing of the Pomeroy's, Mrs. Farrell enjoyed attending art classes with all of her friends. Beloved wife of the late Gerard W., Mrs. Farrell was the loving mother of Barbara Drobile (William), Paul Farrell (Maria) and Maribeth Reilly (Ken). She was the devoted grandmother of Marc and Eric Drobile, David and Chris Farrell, Alison Fisher and Steven Reilly; the proud great grandmother of 4 and the sister of Jeanne Petras (Stephen) and Donald Hannon (Joanne). Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
