Evelyn Jean Rappe Evelyn Jean Rappe, of Levittown, died on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 89. Born in Mount Pleasant, PA, Mrs. Rappe resided in Levittown for many years before moving to Sarasota, Florida where she resided for 13 years before moving back to Levittown. She graduated from Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing and went on to work at Delaware Valley Hospital in Bristol for many years. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mrs. Rappe was the beloved wife of the late Eugene L. Rappe. She was the loving mother of David T. Rappe Sr. and his wife, Dorothea and Dennis E. Rappe. She was the devoted grandmother of David Rappe Jr. and his wife Bridget, Dawn Sarno and her husband Louis and Heather Rappe and the great grandmother of Cody, Casey and Kaden Rappe and Lucas Sarno. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment is private.
