Dear family and friends you are invited to celebrate the life of Florence Miranda Dos santos, who woefully passed away on September third, twenty-twenty six. Florence was a child of God and a bright woman who brought a smile to everyone that crossed her path. Florence had three loving siblings, Lilia Miranda Clayton, Myra Ramirez, and Nestor Miranda Jr. She was a devoted wife to Nery J. Dos Santos for forty-seven years, a caring mother to Sylvia Santiago, Wilson Collazo, Nery Dos Santos Jr., Vera Bensch, and Angelica Dos Santos, a guardian angel to her grandchildren, Gabriella Santiago-Gomez, Jade Santiago-Gomez and her spouse Ethan McCrory, Giacobbe Stephen Clayton, Jacqueline and her spouse John English, Cristopher and his spouse Anna Bensch, Tiffany Silva, Ruben Silva, and Michael and his spouse Kaitlin Pfender, an encouraging great grandmother to her numerous great grandchildren, all whom she loved very dearly.
Florence retired from Penns Wood Village. Those who knew her will remember her for her generosity, her kindness, her faith, and her compassion. Florence made it her mission to spread the word of God and thus she lit up the world with kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. She donated to children who needed it, she helped others even if she had little herself and would always be there to support everyone else. Not only did she give freely, but she gave so happily. She was the zenith of good, a pure soul, somebody who inspires others to become better themselves. Florence overcame many obstacles in her life and she did so with resilience and grace. Despite her numerous challenges and adversities, she smiled; She lifted up people’s spirits, and she remained a beautiful person in every facet of the word. Florence had this wisdom about her where you could ask her something and she would sit and listen, and guide you through. By knowing Florence, you knew there was still so much good in this world and by knowing Florence, your life would always have this light inside of it. Even after her passing, all of her memories and the lessons she shared will shine through as brightly as she did. Florence was truly the kind of person that made you feel as though we were sent an angel down below to touch our hearts, warm our spirits, and teach us, and God has taken her back home to reunite with her mom, Aurelia Miranda Cachola.
So please join us to not mourn, but to celebrate and remember the beautiful soul of Florence.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 9th, 2026 from 9:00 a.m until 11:30 a.m at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. Burial will follow at Tullytown Cemetery. We hope to see you there.
