Florence H. TiddFlorence H. Tidd passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Attleboro Nursing Home in Langhorne. She was 97.Born in Townsend, GA, Mrs. Tidd was a longtime resident of Lower Bucks County and a member of the Harriman United Methodist Church, Bristol.Until retiring, Mrs. Tidd was employed with the IRS for 10 years.Mrs. Tidd was very active as a volunteer and leader for many associations, including the Levittown Women's Society, Easter Seals, Crippled Children's Society, United Methodist Women and the Harriman United Methodist Church.Beloved wife of the late Dean D. Tidd and was the loving mother of Randall D. Tidd (Kevin Christine) and Denise C. McIntire (Patrick).She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Bryan R., Eric B. and Kathryn L. Tidd and Ceilidh V. McIntire and her great grandchildren, Joshua B., Carson R., and Adelyn Tidd.Mrs. Tidd was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and siblings  Everett Hines Jr. and Doris L. Leitzel.Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. There will also be a calling hour on Monday, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the Harriman United Methodist Church, 1700 Wilson Avenue, Bristol, PA 19007 where her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harriman United Methodist Church at the above address.
