Frank J. Annunziata

Frank was born on July 5,1961 in Bronx, New York to Carmine and Joan Annunziata. In 1971 the family moved to Levittown, PA where Frank graduated from Bishop Egan in 1979.

From an early age, Frank found a deep love for music, especially the Beatles, whose influence helped inspire the career path he ultimately chose. Frank started performing live at the age of 12 and quickly developed into a talented singer/songwriter. Frank was always proud of the moment he won the 97.5 WPST unsigned heroes songwriting contest with the song “Believe in Love”. Frank’s songwriting gained much attention over the years. The Composers Guild of America picked him as the best songwriter of 1988 with his composition “End of Time”, and he took second place in 1987 with his song “After It All”. Frank’s voice was heard internationally on many TV and Radio jingles, most notably Rolling Stone Magazine’s 1987-1990 worldwide television and radio commercial.

Throughout his career, Frank was the leader of several bands including the band Level. In 1982, Level released their debut album which was regularly featured on AOR stations in the Philadelphia region.

As an accomplished vocalist, guitarist, drummer, and keyboardist, Frank worked with some of the world’s most well known and gifted musicians including Paul Schaeffer (of David Letterman Fame), Bobby Cheonard (The Billy Squire Band), Little Anthony and the Imperials, Glen Burtnik (Styx and Patty Smyth band), Frankie Avalon, as well as world renowned writer/producer Richard Barrett to name only a few.

Frank eventually started performing as a solo artist and was represented by Eileen Anderson. Following Eileen’s death, Frank continued to run the company in Eileen’s name. Through his dedication, vision, and love for music, Frank grew Anderson Entertainment Management Inc. into one of the most successful booking agencies on the East Coast. Over the years Frank represented many of the best cover bands in the area, all of whom he viewed as family. Frank was a musician, entertainer, and entrepreneur, though not in the usual way. He was a cultivator of people, talent, and relationships making his professional life as enriching as his personal one.

Having grown up in the Bronx, Frank was a proud New Yorker and developed a lifelong devotion to the Yankees. He took pride in being at Yankee Stadium on Mickey Mantle Day and during the Moon Landing in 1969. He was a switch-hitting third baseman who loved being coached by his father on Immaculate Conception’s C.Y.O baseball team.

Frank loved the holidays, especially Christmas. From meticulously decorating the house, listening to the music, watching his favorite movies, and spoiling his entire family with an abundance of presents, he loved everything about the Christmas season. But, most of all, his family and friends were the constant source of joy in his life.

Frank was such a thoughtful and generous person to everyone in his life. Most people who knew him were either blessed with his generosity or witnessed it first-hand. He always put others first. Frank found more satisfaction in giving than receiving.

He was a devoted husband to Maria for 27 years and a loving, dedicated father to his son Christian and his daughter Grace. Frank will be missed by all who love him including his brother John Annunziata of Levittown, PA, his sister and brother-in-law Joanie and Kevin Thompson of Bristol, PA, his Aunt Pat Dougherty of Levittown, PA, his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and all the lives he touched along the way.

Please join us in celebrating Frank's life at his visitation, Monday, September 14, 2026 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd. Levittown PA.

An additional calling hour will be available the following day at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA 19054, Tuesday, September 15, 2026 from 10:00am to 11:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow.

Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
