Obituary of Mr. Gail Clark Williams

Gail Clark Williams passed away at the age of 91 on December 25, 2025.

Gail proudly served in the Army for two years as a Military Police officer with the 2nd Armored Division in Mainz, Germany. After his military service, he embarked on a long-standing career with U.S. Steel, dedicating 26 years as a truck driver and later working for Penn Warner on the grounds crew until his retirement in 2019 after 29 years.

Gail was a true community man, residing in Levittown since 1963 and later moving to Tullytown in 1976. He was an avid member of the American Legion Post 960 and the VFW Post 6495, both in Levittown, and a member of FOP Lodge 53. His commitment to these organizations highlighted his enduring dedication to service and community.

He graduated from Kingston High School in 1952, which marked the beginning of a life full of learning and service.

Gail leaves behind a loving family, including his son Scott; granddaughter Aimee (CO) and Jaime (SC); grandson Denny (Kimberly)(SC); eight great-grandchildren; and 13 nieces and nephews along with their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Robert Williams; son, Gail; daughter, Roberta; sisters, Betty Jean (George) and Georgia (Ed); and brothers, Melvin and Robert.

A service to honor Gail's life will be held on Monday April 20, 2026 at 1:00pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery . Full Military Honors will begin promptly at 1pm, we kindly ask attendees join the procession at the office no later than 12:45pm.

Gail's commitment to his family, his service, and his community will be remembered by all who knew him.
