Gary R. OssmannGary R. Ossmann died on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 66.Born in Trenton, NJ and raised in Morrisville, Gary was a Levittown resident for the past 18 years. He was a 1967 graduate of Trenton High School.For 20 years, Gary was the head mechanic at Piscopo Brothers Auto Body Repair in Morrisville. He was a former volunteer and lifetime member at the Morrisville Fire Department, Station 98.Gary was a huge NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. fan. He will always be remembered as a loving family man and a dedicated hard worker.Beloved husband of nearly 42 years to Karen M. (Souyack), Gary was the loving father of Kathleen M. Brooks (Richard, Sr.) and Beverly Higgs (Shawn) and devoted grandfather of Richard, Jr., Joseph and Hailey Brooks and Shawn, Patrick and Aidan Higgs.Gary will also be missed by his siblings, Charles Ossmann (Marylou), Shirley Beaudet (late Fran), Sharon Drews (Wilson), Carol Richmond (late James), Linda Jantos (Martin), Clinton Ossmann and Margaret Passie (Frank), as well as many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his parents, Martha (Brooks) and Charles Ossmann and his sister, Patricia Fabian.The family would like to thank the Oncology Staff and Saint Mary Medical Center for all of their help and compassion.Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm.
