Gary A. Plantier

Gary A. PlantierGary A Plantier of Fairless Hills PA died at his home at the age of 61.Born in Trenton NJ, and raised in Fairless Hills, Gary was a graduate of Pennsbury High School. Gary was a long time resident of Philadelphia, PA and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.Gary was an accomplished swimmer with numerous high school, state and national records held. He also swam for the All American team both in high school and college.Gary worked as a case manager at PMHCC, community treatment team for many years. He was an advocate to the many that struggle with mental illness and held his clients as well as their families near to his heart.Most of all, Gary was a devoted, loving father to his children and considered them to be his greatest accomplishment. Gary is survived by his loving children Peter A. Plantier (Kelly) and Kate H. Plantier as well as his grandson Waylon A. Plantier.He is the son of Doris M. and the late Arthur R. Plantier and the brother of Lynne Swanson.He will also be missed and remembered fondly by his nephews Jeff and Dave Swanson as well as his great nephews and nieces. Services will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
