

George Delgado, of Levittown, died on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Lower Bucks Hospital. He was 90. Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, Mr. Delgado came to the United States at the age of 7 and settled with his family in Bronx, NY. He later moved to Trenton, NJ and then to Bristol Township where he has lived since 1966. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mr. Delgado was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was employed with General Motors Fisher Body Division formerly located in Ewing Township, NJ for 30 years until retiring in 1992. He was an active member of the Chester W. Terchon Post #5542 where he served as a past Commander. Mr. Delgado was the beloved husband of L. Louise Delgado for 25 years. He was the loving father of Ken and wife Linda Gaun of North Umberland and Janet Arnold of Fairless Hills. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Georgianna (Dave) Ramella, Ken (Jen) Gaun and Dawn (Carl) Baron; 6 great grandchildren Connor, Taylor, Kristin, Ken, Allison and Rebekah and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Family and friends may call Sunday from 6 until 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 until 10 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
