

George was born in Trenton, New Jersey, to parents, Max and Elsie Kramer. He graduated from Trenton Area High School and continued his education, graduating from La Salle with a master’s degree in English. George went on to establish a career as a Probation Officer, working for the state of New Jersey for 8 years, and the Federal Government for over 20 years. After retirement, George was a substitute teacher with Bristol School District, and a commercial art designer for many local businesses. In addition, George served during the Korean War in the Navy.
In his spare time, George enjoyed gardening, reading, art, and bird watching. He also enjoyed relaxing in his recliner chair and listening to music. George was a very kind and loving soul. He will be missed dearly by his cherished family.
George was preceded in death by his children Daniel Kramer, Georgie Kramer, and Michelle Holzman, and his parents Max Kramer and Elsie Kramer (nee Ples).
George is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Alyce Kramer (nee Bacskay); his children Joseph Kramer
(Kathy), Samuel Kramer (MaryAnne), Diane Kramer, and Darlene Daulerio (Joseph); his grandchildren
Christine, Lauren, Michelle, Dana, Samuel, Jeremy, Lindsay, Antonio, Daniel, Carly, Benny, Joseph, Bailey, and Paige; several beloved great-grandchildren; and his brother Robert Kramer.
A viewing for George will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, followed by a funeral service at 11:00, and burial at 12:00 PM at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, Pennsylvania 19020.
