

George N. Redner, III George N. Redner, III died tragically on Saturday, August 1, 2015. He was 27. Born in Bristol, George has been a lifetime resident of Lower Bucks County and was a 2006 graduate of Pennsbury High School. He was a member of the Edgley Fire Company and was with the Bucks County Rescue Squad for the past 7 years. George was past Lieutenant of the Tullytown Fire Company and a past member of the 3rd District Fire Company. George has been a firefighter for the past 3 years at Six Flags Great Adventure, in Jackson, NJ. George was a EMT and member of the Fairless Hills and Morrisville Rescue Squads, and was a former firefighter and EMT of Goosecreek, SC Fire Company. He assisted the Union Beach Fire Company in New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy. Beloved son of Jacqueline and George Redner, Jr., George is the loving brother of Joshua, Joseph, Nicholas and Austin. He will also be sadly missed by his maternal grandmother, Lydia Kappler (the late Harry "Pat"); paternal grandmother, Eleanor Redner; aunts and uncles, Charles Kappler (Barb), Elizabeth Kappler, Donna Klesh (Dan), Lydia Edwards (Bruce), Patrick Kappler (Leann), Kathleen Matson; and Kevin Kappler (Karen); many cousins; extended family members; and his godmother, Heather Leinheiser. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 4:00 until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, from 8:00 until 9:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00 am, at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown, followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George's name may be made to Edgley Fire Company, 1200 Edgely Road, Levittown, PA 19057 or to the National Fallen Firefighter Association, PO Drawer 498, Emmitsburg, PA 21727.
