Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the son of the late Zula (Cathey) and George Braithwaite, Mr. Braithwaite has been a resident of Levittown since 2006.
In the 70's and 80's, he was the owner of Babs and Jerry's Luncheonette in Havertown, PA. He spent the rest of his working days as a cook in Philadelphia.
Mr. Braithwaite enjoyed reading, bowling and going to the horse racing track and was a Philadelphia sports fan.
Gerald is survived by his children, Karen L. Moore (Garry) and Brian M. Braithwaite (Stacy); and his grandchildren, Connor, Brooke, Mason and Chase.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
