

Geraldine V. Boyle of Fairless Hills passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center surrounded by her daughters. She was 79. Born in New York City, Mrs. Boyle has resided in Fairless Hills since 1970 and was a member of St. Frances Cabrini parish. She worked as a data processor with MetLife for a time, but spent most of her adult life as a homemaker raising her family. She enjoyed the holidays, family vacations at the shore and any time spent with her grandchildren. Mrs. Boyle was the wife of the late Frank Boyle. She was the loving mother of Mary Ellen Lorenz of Rosemont, Susan Misciascio (Joseph) of Hamilton Township, NJ, Patricia Barnes (Robert) of Burlington, NJ and the late Kim Boyle. She was the devoted grandmother of Brittany, Brandon and Cassidy Lorenz, Joseph, Jenna, Megan and Kelsey Misciascio and Logan and Lauren Barnes. Daughter of the late James and Mary Shields, she was the sister of Anne Cowie of Freehold, NJ, James Shields of Chamblee, GA and Kevin Shields of New York City. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 until 9 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church followed by Rite of Committal at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
