

Gerry was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by parents, Jose and Loretta Macalintal. She was a graduate of Frankford High School in 1950 and had many jobs throughout her life. She was President of Ger-Mac Group LTD, Co-Owner of DeNucci Excavating Corp and DeNucci & Sons Truck Rental Inc. Above all else, Gerry was a caring mother to her eleven children.
In her free time, Gerry enjoyed going to the Jersey Shore and Myrtle Beach. She was known for her Filipino and Italian dishes and loved her lottery scratch-offs. Gerry was the calm in everyone’s storm, a steady and comforting presence in times of joy and sorrow alike. With her easy-going nature and kind heart, she made everyone around her feel safe and loved. As the matriarch of her large family, Gerry was the glue that held them all together. Her wisdom and warmth guided them through life’s challenges. Her love for her family was unwavering and she cherished every moment spent with them; always putting others before herself. Her legacy of kindness, patience, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
Gerry is survived by her loving husband Charles DeNucci; her children: Ria Baird, Charles DeNucci (Karen), Bob DeNucci (Sharon), Gerry West (Bill), Clint DeNucci (Marilyn), Antoinette DeNucci, Karen Fallon (Mike), Frank DeNucci (Donna), Andrew DeNucci (Susan), and Julia Huber (Mark); her grandchildren: Danielle, Raymond, Denise, Bobby, Chris, Christine, Michelle, Rosie, Amilia, Clinton, Liliana, Nicolas, Marisa, Zach, Mikey, Joey, Crystal, Stacie, Andy Jr., Savannah, Trinity, Hailey, Edward, Axel, and Garrett; 25 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; her sister in-laws Frances Citara and Ruth Johnston (Ray); her cousins: Fran (Joanne), Tony (Nora), and Theresa (John); and her loyal dog, Pumpkin.
Gerry was preceded in death by her daughter Jeannine DeNucci, her son-in-law Joe Baird, her parents, Jose Macalintal and Loretta Macalintal (nee Panaro), her sisters-in-law, Lillian and Carmela and her cousin Sonny.
A viewing for Geraldine will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056. A secondary viewing will occur Friday, February 7, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. She will be laid to rest after services at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Super Highway, Langhorne, Pennsylvania 19047.
