Gertrude Toner Gertrude R. Toner, a resident of Levittown and an original homeowner, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol. She was 89. Born and raised in Atlantic City, NJ, Mrs. Toner loved and enjoyed it there way before the casinos were even built. Mrs. Toner took great pride in watching her grandchildren participate in sports. She enjoyed reading, taking walks and playing scrabble. Mrs. Toner was a waitress for many years. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Joseph T., mother of the late Thomas T. and sister of the late Loretta and Renee. Gert is survived by her loving son, Jess, of Levittown. Muzzy is also survived by her three grandchildren, Jamie (Paul), Thomas (Michelle) and Daniel (Shea) and her great grandchildren, Louie, Colin, Dylan, Paulie and Evie. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Services and interment will be held privately.
