Glenn Harry Esling, age 68, passed away at home in Yardley, PA on December 24th, 2024.
Glenn was born in Philadelphia, PA, to parents Harry M. Esling and Joan E. Esling (nee Ragan). He graduated from DelHaas High School in 1975. Glenn was the owner and operator of a Tastykake franchise until his recent retirement. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Fairless Hills.
Glenn was also a former Boy Scouts leader and coach of basketball and baseball. He enjoyed family vacations to Ocean City, New Jersey, where he particularly liked to walk the boardwalk. He had many interests, including woodworking, history, reading, classic rock, cars and many others. Glenn was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Phillies.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Harry M. and Joan E., and his infant son Andrew.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Beverly Esling; his children: Matthew Esling (Allison), Allison Harrison (Ryan), and Randall Esling (Mackenzie); his five granddaughters: Esamé and Eloise Esling, Paige, Claire and Leah Harrison; and his siblings: Gregg Esling and Jennifer Esling-Wilson (John Carvelli).
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 at the First United Methodist Church of Fairless Hills, 840 Trenton Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030, where calling hours will be from 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
