Grace M. Kurtz

Grace Marcella Kurtz, nee Calpin, passed away at her home on May 31, 2017 after a valiant battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She was 81 years old.Grace was born in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Little Flower High School. She had resided in Penndel since 1970.Grace was Membership Director at the Lower Bucks Family YMCA in Fairless Hills until her retirement. Grace was the daughter of the late Michael and Katharine Calpin (nee Weldon) and the wife of the late Fred P. Kurtz. She is survived by her children, Kathleen McGovern (Richard), Lisa Burnett (Robert) and Fred M. Kurtz (Rebecca), seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Martin J. Calpin (Lois) and her nephews and their wives. The family would like to thank the nurses and aides at St. Mary Medical Center, Regional Oncologic and Hematology Associates and Chandler Hall Hospice for all of their care and assistance.Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass on Monday, June 5th at 12:30 pm at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Avenue, Penndel, PA 19047. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:30-12:30. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, 100 North 20th Street, Suite 405, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
