Harold Thomas Mentzer Jr.

Born in Altoona, PA, Mr. Mentzer had been a long time resident of Lower Bucks County prior to moving to Virginia in 2016.

He loved fresh water fishing, hunting and bowling, however, his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.

Tom was a Civil War collector and enthusiast.

Beloved husband of 54 years to Jacqueline "Jackie" (Bleakney), Tom is the the loving father of Renee Coffman (Jack) and David Mentzer (Marci) and their families.

He is the devoted grandfather of Alexa Pullen (Sean), Brandon Coffman, Cheyenne Coffman; the doting Pappy of great granddaughter, Avery Grace; and the dear brother of Michael Mentzer (Michele).

Tom will also be sadly missed by his niece Brittany and nephews, Michael and John.

He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Rebecca Mentzer and his son, Don Mentzer.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, January 9, 2022, from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will be held privately.

The family is requesting no flowers please, and that memorial contributions in Tom's name be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103, American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, or to their favorite charity.
