Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Harry and Sadie Freeling, he was a longtime resident of Bensalem, PA.
Harry served in the US Air force during the Korean War. After the war he worked mostly as a train engineer for PA Railroad and Conrail, then finally retired from Amtrak.
He was a collector of many things, trains remaining dear to him. He loved spending time at the casinos and various buffets with his long time friend and partner in crime, Joe Butler. But most of all, "Grandpop" loved his family and the time he spent with them.
Harry will be dearly missed by his children Harry (Nicole) and Renee Freeling and his grandchildren Jessica, Zachary, Rebecca, Gabriella and Brianna. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Louise Heller.
He was preceded in death by his sister Jean Ellis and brothers Richard and Donald Freeling.
He will also be dearly missed by his friends and neighbors.
Family and friends are invited to attend his committal service at precisely 2:30 pm, Monday, May 6, 2019, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Guests should arrive by 2:15 pm.
