Herbert J. Young, Jr. Herbert J. Young, Jr. died on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 72. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late "Joyce" (Byce) and the late Herbert J. Young, Sr., he was a lifetime resident of Lower Bucks County. Mr. Young was a graduate of Pennsbury High School. Until his retirement in 1992, Mr. Young was a foreman for Owens-Illinois in Croydon for 25 years and was the past owner/operator of Young's Gym in Tullytown and Bristol Boro. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed going to flea markets. Most of all, Mr. Young just enjoyed life! Mr. Young was the loving father of Kimberly Young-Conner, Thor Young, Shane Young, Jason Young, Erik Young, Kelly Sussenbach and Kristine Gunther. He was the proud grandfather of Noah, Jayke, Jordyn, Sydney, Makenzie, Delaney, Ryder, Hunter, Logan, Dylan, Jebadiah and Emerson. He will also be sadly missed by his long time companion, Jean Geyer. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, at 10:00 am, at Immaculate Conception Church, 5201 Emilie Road, Levittown. Interment will be held privately. There will be no calling hour on Friday morning.
