

Irene M. Rehak Irene M. (Pavuk) Rehak, of Levittown, died on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Chandler Hall in Newtown after a brief illness. She was 91. Born in Hazleton, PA, the daughter of the late Mary (Kohler) and John Pavuk, Mrs. Rehak was a resident of Levittown since 1952. She was a former saleswoman with J.C. Penney at the Oxford Valley Mall. Mrs. Rehak was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. Irene was well known for her home cooking, especially her Thanksgiving home-baked pies. She also was a big fan of Neshaminy Football games and loved to watch her grandsons play. Mrs. Rehak was the beloved wife of the late Robert S. Rehak. She was the loving mother of Jean Woolman (Tom) of Yardley, Roberta Gillespie of Sewickley, and Carol Marterella (Larry) of Levittown. She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Tom Woolman (Brittnay), Steven Woolman (Jennifer), Amanda Gillespie (Reginald), Patrick Gillespie, Chelsea, Lucie, Charlie, Bobby and Dana Marterella; her great grandchildren, Joshua and Emily Woolman, Samantha Woolman and Mathilda LaFond; her sister Marge Mocarski (Ray), her brother, George "Barney" Pavuk and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother John Pavuk. Family and friends may call on Friday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where a Parastas service will be held at 8 p.m. Friends may also call on Saturday, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home where a Panachida service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery.
