Irene Spears Irene Spears of Levittown died on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. She lived 85 amazing and full years. Born in Frackville, PA, Irene has lived in Levittown for 60 years where she was an active member of Emilie United Methodist Church. Irene worked for the Bristol Township School District for 17 years and also worked at Toys R Us for a time. Irene enjoyed bowling and traveling with her senior citizens group. She also enjoyed bingo and going to the casinos. Irene's greatest enjoyment was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Irene was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Levittown International Little League, worked the polls in Bristol Township for many years and was a volunteer at the Lower Bucks Hospital. Irene was the loving mother to Thomas E. Spears of Greensburg, PA, Janice L. Hopkins (Raymond, Husband) of Langhorne, Joyce A. Hessenthaler of Levittown and Susan I. Bartow (Kenneth, Husband) of Mesa, Az. Irene was the devoted grandmother to Anthony, Thomas J., Michelle, Lisa (Jesse, Husband), Ryan, Jaimie, Lauren, Kristopher, Lindsay and Brianna and the great grandmother to Joey, Tyler, Brody, Guiliana, Adelina and Alayna. Family and friends may call Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Emilie United Methodist Church, 7300 New Falls Rd., Levittown, PA where her funeral service will be held immediately following the Tuesday morning viewing at 11a.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emilie United Methodist Church, 7300 New Falls Rd., Levittown, PA 19055 in memory of Irene Spears
