

Born in Brooklyn to the late Arthur J. and Catherine (nee Cusick) Bardi, James was raised in Levittown, New York, and moved to the Lower Bucks County area in 2000.
James was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War. Mr. Bardi was awarded both the Bronze Star and Meritorious and Heroic Medal of Honor for his service, where he was at one point MIA.
A true sports enthusiast, James especially loved the NY Giants and boxing. He was fortunate to never miss his kids sporting events, especially his daughters’ softball games and he had the time, dedication and passion to teach his son the sport of boxing at the age of 9. James saw his sons boxing career thrive, which led him to compete in the Junior Olympics.
James will be lovingly remembered as a genuine friend with a huge heart and good person.
Mr. Bardi was predeceased by the love of his life, Joyce (nee Stump). He is survived by his loving children James J. Bardi, II (Kerilee), Carri Smith (Gus) and Cheryl Lehman; his grandchildren Robbie, Taylor, James III, Alana, AnaLeah, Anthony, William, Thomas and Logan; his sister Patricia Von Hippel (Frank) and his brother Dennis Bardi (Diane).
He was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Bardi.
James will be laid to rest at Long Island National Cemetery, NY. Services will be held at a later date, please check back for updates.
