James Edward Bennett

Born in Philadelphia, he has been a life long resident of Levittown.

He served with the US Army, 101st Airborne as a Sergeant as a Recon Leader in Vietnam.

Until his retirement, Jim was employed with United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 1462.

He is the beloved husband of 46 years to Cynthia "Cindy" (Fessler); and loving father to Dan (Gabrielle), Mark and Jennifer (Scott); and the devoted grandfather of Chase.

He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Rose Schwenzer (Bob) and Helene Polyak (late John), his brother, Tommy Bennett (Ginny); and many nieces and one nephew.

Jim is predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Helen Bennett; and his brother, Bobby Bennett.

A burial with full Military honors for James will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940. Please arrive at the main office no later than 2:15 pm.
