James Scott Brennan of Yardley, Pa passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at St. Mary Medical Center. He was 68 years old. Born in Levittown, New York to the late John and Alice (Moley) Brennan, James “Jim” Brennan has been an active resident of Lower Bucks County for several decades as the founder and owner/operator of Tru-Line Fencing in Levittown, Pa as well as a charismatic neighbor who brought his community together with memorable pig roasts, parties and gatherings where anyone there could witness Jim in his straw hat, tropical shirt and toothpick in his mouth either manning the grill or walking around to people checking to be sure everyone was having a great time, and they always were. Jim was generous in every way but especially with his wit, with his time and with his heart. He lived a great, beautiful life and loved to share that with the people closest to him, but his love did not stop with people. He cared deeply for animals and all wildlife. He could often be found gardening and caring for his dogs and cats over the years, most notably, Rocco, his dear late dog that he had with him at all times, under his arm and kept gently in care.
Beloved husband to the love of his life, the late Kathy A. (Davenport) Brennan and devoted father of Kelly Durante (Carl). Poppy to Lillian Moon and Rose Evangeline. Brother to Jack (Carol), WIlliam (Kathleen), Timothy, Robert and Patrick Brennan and beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews; loyal friend to Kevin Lockett and wife Kate; companion to Brenda Plocher; preceded in death by his sister Alice and brothers Philip and Keith, Jim will be deeply missed.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, services will be private. Jim’s family plans to celebrate his life in a way most fitting for him in the future.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the World Wildlife Fund or an animal rescue of your choice.
