

James Patrick Coleman of Bristol died on Friday, July 31, 2015 at his home. He was 67. Born in Camden, NJ, James has been a life long Lower Bucks County resident and was a 1966 graduate of Bishop Egan High School. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran serving from 1967 until 1971. He was most recently employed with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Camden where he worked for over 10 years. He was a good friend to many and longtime host of the kitchen club. James was the son of the late James P. and Anna T. (Kelly) Coleman. He was the loving father of Patrick Coleman (Brittany Erickson) of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and the grandfather of Austin Coleman. He was the brother of Patricia Marie Coleman (Al Fittipaldi) of Titusville, NJ, Thomas Coleman (Lyn) of Bristol, Matthew Coleman of Philadelphia, Mark Coleman of New Orleans, LA, Joe Coleman (Judy) of Hulmeville, and John Coleman (Patricia) of Langhorne. He was the favorite nephew of Marie Kelly and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Friends may also call on Friday from 8 until 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at 9:30 a.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.
