James was born on November 7, 1961 to the late George S. and Virginia J. Fetch. He graduated from Delhaas High School in 1980. He then went on to establish a career as an HVAC mechanic.
Jim was a lifelong Philadelphia sports and NASCAR fan, most avidly of the Philadelphia Flyers. He enjoyed spending time working on his Dodge RAM, go-karts and could fix anything with a motor. Jim was an excellent billiards and darts player, and loved listening to classic rock, always being the first to “name that tune.” Jim found comfort being in the outdoors, fishing, camping and keeping up with the lawn and garden.
Jim was a devoted friend to all who knew him throughout the years and had a talent for remembering everyone’s name. He cared deeply for those who impacted his life.
James is survived by his beloved children, James Robert Jr. and Kristin Renee Fetch; mother, Virginia Valenti; siblings, Ginny (Gene) Cieszynski, George (Lisa) Fetch, and Ann Marie (Bruce) Massaro; and 7 nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing at 9 A.M. on Tuesday, March 7 at St. Ann’s Church, 357 Dorrance St, Bristol, PA 19007, followed by mass and burial at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim’s memory may be made to any animal rescue of the donor’s choice.
