

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, to the late James M. Sr. and Anna Lizzano, he was a 1964 graduate of Trenton Central High School.
Jim proudly served his country as an airborne paratrooper in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Following his service, he worked for Goodall Rubber Company and then at KMart distribution center.
He met his beloved wife, Pamela, in 1976 while bowling, beginning a 42-year marriage filled with love and shared memories. Together, they enjoyed traveling, including vacations in Clearwater, Florida, snowmobiling in Pulaski, New York, and spending time golfing.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Pamela and his daughter in law Danielle; Jim is survived by his children, Maria and Chad (Jessica); David (Danielle) and Shawn, his grandchildren, Myrannda, Julianna, Vannessa, Melissa, Stephannie, and Katie, Christian and Jake, Sarah and Steven; and his siblings, Richard Lizzano, Carl Lizzano, and Andrea Pesce- Guttveg.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and again on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon, followed by a funeral service at noon, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.
Burial with full military honors will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
