Jim continued his education, attending Lafeyette University and East Stroudsburg College. Jim went on to establish a career as a Quality Control Manager, working in the automotive, wind energy, and plastics industries for a career that spanned 50 years.
Jim loved to spend time with his family. In particular, he loved to travel to Ocean City, NJ for the annual family summer vacation where he spent many hours in the water and on the mini-golf course. He also loved his bigger adventures with his family to Europe and Egypt. He was also an avid British fiction fan, being particularly fond of Doctor Who, Inspector Morse, and James Bond.
Jim was known as a hard-working, quiet, and kind individual who was always looking for a way to help others. He went above and beyond during the holidays setting up model trains every year and making sure his family had full stockings and well-hidden Easter eggs. He enjoyed game night with his family, especially Trivial Pursuit and Pictionary, even though he may not have been the best artist. He also loved working on puzzles. Additionally, he was incredibly handy and loved working around the house always starting many carpentry projects and even finishing a few. He also lent his handyman skills to many family members over the years enjoying the quality time spent and the pride of a job well done.
Jim was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter Amanda Jones and his parents.
