

James A. Lenahan IV, of Levittown, PA, passed away on September 28, 2022 from pancreatic cancer. Affectionately known as "Jamie" by his family and "Jim" or "Lenahan" at work. He was only 54 years old. The family is devastated by his death. Jim was born on September 25, 1968 in Levittown, PA to Jeanne (Schweizer) Lenahan.
Jim graduated from Harry S. Truman High School in Levittown, PA in 1986. After graduation, Jim proudly served in the United States Navy. He attended boot camp in the Great Lakes, Chicago IL. During his time in the Navy, Jim traveled the world. Jim fought proudly during the insurgence in Africa in 1987.
Jim worked for the federal government in the Transportation Safety Administration. During his 21 years of service with the TSA, Jim made lifelong friends with not only his coworkers at the TSA but also the New Jersey State Police and Mercer County Sheriff's office.
Jim had a tough exterior and a great sense of humor. On the inside Jim was a caring man with a huge heart. Jim always fought for the underdog and did the right thing by people.
Jim is survived by his sister Laura (Sarah Deitch). He leaves behind a nephew, Carter and a step-nephew, Calvin. Jim is also survived by an aunt, several cousins and extended family members that will miss him dearly.
Services are being held for Jim on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the James J. Doughtery Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. Visitation will be at 10:30 am until 12:30 pm, followed by a full military burial at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
